ICSR 2023 Venue: New Student Affairs Building at Qatar University
The venue for ICSR 2023 will be at the new Student Affairs building inside the Qatar University Campus. The new building has state-of-the-art conference facilities: an auditorium with 300 seats,
multiple conference rooms with 100 seats, an exhibition hall with several demo LCD monitors, and large spaces suitable for interactions among conference participants and robots
Please note that a visa is required for entry in Qatar.
GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Nationals do not require a visa.
GCC Residents can obtain a visa on arrival.
Nationals of more than 80 countries are eligible for visa-free entry into the State of Qatar, with varying allowable lengths of stay. Also, there is Qatar-Oman Joint Tourist Visa that is issued upon arrival and is valid for 30 days for the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman. It allows for multiple entry to both countries and is extendable for an additional 30 days for a fee. Click here for more information.
The ICSR 2023 organizing committee will assist other individuals from countries outside the above list in obtaining visas prior to their arrival.

The 15th International Conference on Social Robotics (ICSR 2023) is scheduled to convene at I11, the Student Affair Building, situated within the precincts of Qatar University. Enclosed herein is a map delineating the university campus, with a special emphasis on I11 and the adjacent metro station (Link). Attendees are advised that the Doha metro offers a convenient route to Qatar University, with I11 being a short stroll from the metro station. The climatic conditions in Doha during December are generally conducive to walking. Nevertheless, for added convenience, shuttle bus services will be operational, facilitating transit between the metro station and I11.
